About Us
Quantum Atomica began in 2000 as a an extracurricular school project. The initial developers were Dr Michael Daniel, Rahul Vohra and Gareth Williams. Dr Daniel is the head of physics at King Edward's School, Birmingham, UK. Gareth has recently submitted his PhD in Computer Science student the University of Cambridge. Rahul is the founder of First Sword Media.
The program has undergone continuing development. Most recently in summer 2004, Gareth added volumetric anaglyph support.
For historical fun, we've uploaded the very first version of the program so you can see how much has changed. This was written on the evening of the day the project started, when when Dr Daniel gave us the equation for the 1S orbital. You can download the very first version here.
